Curved Pocket Cha-Cha Bag Pattern

The Curved Pocket Cha-Cha Bag pattern by Tiger Lily Press has a curved, decorative pocket on the front with convenient straight and kangaroo pockets inside.  There are easy instructions for a top zipper (or not - your choice!) and a finished size of 16 1/2" x 11 1/4" x 4".  Templates are included for the bag bottom and the pocket curve.

Materials Needed:

• Main fabric (Scotty Dogs) - 1/2 yard
• Accent fabric (Argyle) - 1/2 yard
• Handles and bottom - 1/2 yard
• Bias trim for curved pocket and bottom lining - 1/3 yard OR 2 yards bias tape (If you use bias tape, you will need to trim purchased bias trim to measure 1 1/4" with folds opened)
• Accent lining (Top inside of bag) - 1/4 yard
• Optional zipper flaps - 1/4 yard
• Main lining and inside pockets - 1 1/4 yard
• Woven 100% cotton fusible interfacing (23" wide) - 1 1/2 yards (add 1/4 yard if inserting zip)
• Pellon #809 Decor Bond fusible interfacing - 3/4 yard
• Steam-a-Seam fusible web (original - 12" wide) - 2/3 yard
• 3/8" Braided nylon rope for handles (Hardware store) - 50 inches
• Optional zipper - polyester coil sweater/jacket zipper 18" or longer, closed or separating
