Happy Bag Pattern

The Happy Bags pattern by Bella Nonna has directions for 4 different bag sizes - the large weekender (18" x 14 1/2" x 6"), the small happy bag town tote (12 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 4 1/2"), the Grab & Go (6 1/2" x 7 1/2"), and the Stash 'N Go wallet pattern (3" x 5 1/2").  Pattern pieces included for purse flap and back.

Materials Needed: Amounts given in red are for the Smaller Town Tote Happy Bag

• Main fabric - 20 (16) each 1/8 yd pieces, or 50 (36) coordinating strips ranging 1" to 3 1/2" wide, 22" or longer.  1/8 yd black for ties and trim.
• Bag lining - 1 (2/3) yds fabric
• Batting - 36" x 55" (24" x 42" ) piece
• Buttons  - 3 buttons 2" each (optional - 3 buttons 5/8" each)
• Pockets - 3 coordinating fat eighths
• African Animal Embroidery  - 1 animal embroidery (about 7" x 9")
• Mud Cloth - 2 (1) strips Mud Cloth (about 5" x 60")
• Muslin for backing - 1 (2/3) yds preshrunk
• Fusible interfacing for all 3 projects - 2 ( 1 1/2) yd of 22" width (Use medium weight non-woven)
• GRAB 'N GO PURSE: back & front - 1 fat quarter
• Lining - 1 fat eighth
• Purse flap - 1 fat eighth
• Cording for strap - 1 1/4 yds
• Elastic & button - 1/2" width, 8" length - 1 each 5/8" button

• 2 snaps or looped fastener
