Twister Tote Pattern

The Twister Tote Pattern by Around The Bobbin has instructions for fun pinwheels -  either use the Lil' Twister Tool or not!  If you don't have the tool, just make either color blocked panels or use your printed  fabric for interesting combinations.  Finished size of this tote is approximately 15" H x 16" W x 6" D.

Materials Needed:  Fabric - 42" or 44" wide, cotton quilting fabrics

• TWISTER TOTE:
• 1/2 yard main fabric for twister squares and upper right panels
• 2/3 yard contrast Fabric A (dark) for twister squares, lower right panels, handles and lining pockets
• 5/8 yard contrast Fabric B (medium) for twister squares, black left panel and lining pockets
• 1/6 yard contrast Fabric C (light) for twister squares
• 5/8 yard lining fabric for lining front and back
• BASIC TOTE:
• 2/3 yard main fabric for left panels and pockets
• 1/4 yard contrast Fabric A for upper right panels
• 2/3 yard contrast Fabric B for lower right panels, lining pockets and handles
• 5/8 yard lining fabric for lining front and back
• INTERFACING AND INTERLINING (both totes):
• 3 yards of 20" medium weight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101
• 1/3 yard of 44"/45" (2/3 yard 19"/20") firm fusible interfacing such as Pellon Decor Bond
• 1 and 1/8 yards 20" extra firm sew-in stabilizer such as Pellon 926 Extra Firm Stabilizer (not Peltex)
• 2 strips of 1 and 3/8" x 23 and 1/2" lightweight batting, felt or additional sew-in stabilizer for interlining in the handles
