Chameleon Bag Pattern

The Chameleon Bag Pattern by Sisters' Common Thread has instructions to make a basic handbag and 2 interchangeable outer jackets!  One of the outer jackets is a stylish pleated outer bag and the other is for a decorative outside bag with buttons.
The Dream weaver is also available, which is a woven additional jacket for the Chameleon Bag pattern.

Materials Needed:

• BASIC BAG:
• 1 yd light color 45" wide fabric for lining
• 1 yd basic color 45" fabric for bag exterior
• 3" elastic 1" wide
• Light weight iron-on interfacing
• 14" zipper
• 2" x 5" piece iron-on adhesive
• Template plastic
• 2 feet of 1" self adhesive magnetic strip
• (4) D rings or similar hardware for handles
• (4) sets heavy duty snaps for handles
• PLEATED SOPHISTICATE JACKET:
• 3/4 yard main 45" fabric (small print)
• 1 1/6 yard of contrast 45" fabric (large print)
• 2 yards light weight iron-on interfacing
• Template plastic
• 17" of 1" wide adhesive magnetic strip
• SPRING POCKETS JACKET:
• 1 yard of main 45" fabric (small print)
• 1 yard contrast 45" fabric (large print)
• 2 yards light weight iron-on interfacing
• Template plastic
• 17" of 1" wide adhesive magnetic strip
• 2 buttons
