Bountiful Bag Pattern

The Bountiful Bag pattern by Melissa Stramel of Lilac Lane includes sewing instructions for 3 bag patterns - a grocery/market bag and a lunch bag.  Finished size is as follows:  the grocery bag - 12" x 17" x 7" and the lunch bag - 8" x 10" x 4".  There are also instructions included for a gift bag - just choose the materials needed for either side bag and omit the webbing and Velcro.  This is a great beginner pattern!

Materials Needed:

GROCERY/MARKET BAG:

• 1 yard fabric or 3 fat quarters
• 1 yard lining fabric
• 1 1/2 yards extra firm sew-in stabilizer
• 2" of 1 1/4" heavy duty cotton webbing
• OPTIONAL - 12" x 7" embroidery canvas

LUNCH BAG:

• 1/4 yard fabric or 1 fat quarter
• 1/4 yard lining fabric
• 1/2 yard stabilizer as listed above
• OPTIONAL - 7" sew-in Velcro and 8" x 4" embroidery canvas

For the gift bag, choose the supplies for the size bag that you want and omit the webbing and Velcro.
