Checkbook Cover Pattern

Checkbook Cover pattern that has instructions for a plain fabric cover or a 3" block design.  This pattern is easy to make and fits standard top bound checks and registers.  The Checkbook Cover pattern is also fat quarter friendly and finished size is 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" (closed).  This pattern assumes that you know how to make a 3" nine-patch block.

Materials Needed:

• Fabric - 1 Fat Quarter of 1/4 yd
• Craft Fleece - 7" x 8"
• Template Plastic - 2 pieces at 6" x 3"
• 1/4" wide Elastic - 1/3 yd
• 3" Cover  Block - (optional) Use coordinating fabric remnants
