Explorer Totes Pattern *

The Explorer Tote Pattern by Anna Graham of Noodlehead includes sewing instructions and pattern templates for creating a small tote or a large size tote for an overnight getaway. Each size includes:

• front pocket, divided back pocket, and large divided interior slip pocket
• open top or recessed zipper closure options, flap with closure provides extra security for both
• large size include short handles and a detachable strap; small size features over the shoulder straps

Finished sizes:

• SMALL: 18" W x 13" H x 4" D
• LARGE: 22" W x 14" H x 7" D

Materials needed (based on 44" wide fabric, SMALL size noted in { } ):

• 1 yd exterior fabric
• 1 3/4 yds {1 yd} lining fabric
• 1/2 yd contrast bottom
• 1/2 yd {1/4 yd} accent fabric
• 2 1/4 yds {2 yds} fusible woven interfacing
• 3/4 yd {1/2 yd} fusible fleece
• 1 yd {1/2 yd} fusible medium-weight interfacing
• (2) 1" D-rings (large only)
• 1 1/2" slider (large only)
• (2) 1 1/2" swivel snaps (large only)
