Connie Backpacks Pattern

The Connie Backpacks Pattern by Sallie Tomato includes sewing instructions and pattern templates for creating practical and functional backpacks in two sizes, with optional mesh pockets. Makes into a great hands free bag or purse; cleverly designed to avoid using any bias binding. Finished sizes: Full - 11" W x 15" H x 4" D; Mini - 9" W x 12" H x 3" D.

Materials needed [Mini in brackets]:

• 5/8 yd [1/2 yd] fabric - exterior (full exterior, slip pocket, covered zipper pocket)
• 3/8 yd [3/8 yd] fabric - lining
• 1/2 yd [1/4 yd] Sew-In Foam (Bosal In-R-Form)
• 3 1/2 yds [3 1/4 yds] of 1" webbing - handles and strap
• 1/3 yd [1/4 yd] Mesh fabric - side pockets and lining pocket (optional)
• 1 yd of 20mm fold over elastic (only if using mesh)
• (2) 1" Ladder Lock Slider Buckles
• 10" [8"] single slide zipper - size #5
• 22" [18"] double slide zipper - size #56
