Getaway XL Tote Pattern *

The Getaway XL Tote Pattern by Sew Many Creations is a must-have bag for that weekend getaway, or even your quilt retreat! This large tote bag pattern includes 2 sets of divided pockets, 2 zippered pockets, extra wide straps and  a zipper closure top to keep everything inside.  Finished size is 18"W (across top) x 20"W (across bottom) x 8"D x 16"H and his bag is recommended for experienced bag makers.

Materials Needed:

• 1 and 1/8 yards cotton fabric for outside body, side panel & inside zip pockets
• 1/3 yard cotton fabric for the zipper top
• 3/8 yard cotton fabric for handles
• 1 and 1/8 yards cotton fabric for lining body, side panel and inside divided pockets
• 2 yards of Pellon Decor Bond 44" fusible interfacing
• Plastic all-purpose zipperss 20" (for bag top) and two 7" zippers (for inside zipper pockets). Longer zippers can be used but must be cut to proper size.
• 1/4" of Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 Iron-On Double Stick Fusible Tape
• Sewing machine with 1/4" foot and zipper foot
