Everly Backpack Pattern

The Everly Backpack Pattern by Jessica VanDenburgh of Sew Many Creations includes sewing instructions and a flap pattern template for creating a backpack with convertible strap, great for everyday use. The front flap covers a handy zippered pocket underneath.  The removable double backpack straps convert to a single adjustable strap so this bag can be worn cross body as well.  Inside is a divided pocket. Finished size: 11" W x 12" H x 4" D.

Materials needed:

• 3/4 yd fabric - outside top, flap
• 1/4 yd fabric OR 9" x 12" piece of cork - outside bottom
• 3/8 yd fabric - strap
• 1/2 yd fabric - lining, inside pocket
• 1-1/4 yds Pellon Decor Bon #809 fusible interfacing
• 3/8 yd Pellon Fusible Fleece #987F
• Twist lock OR Velcro OR magnetic snap for Flap
• (4) 1-1/2" D-Rings
• (3) 1-1/2" Swivel Hooks
• 1-1/2" Circular Ring
• (2) 1-1/2" Slides
• 9" plastic all-purpose zipper
• 1/4" wdie Iron-On Double Stick Fusible Tape (with paper backing)
