London City Bag Pattern

The London City Bag by Pink Sand Beach is a fat quarter friendly handbag that uses 2 1/2" strips to make your bag very unique! The instructions are easy to understand and there are photos to help you every step of the way. This bag has a single shoulder strap, an easy to install top zipper closure, and convenient pockets to keep you organized (3 outside and 4 inside!). Finished size is 12"W x 9"H x 2"D.

Materials Needed: FQ= Fat Quarters

• STYLE A - Strip fabrics on the outside pockets
• 5 strips - 2 1/2" x 44" - Use five different fabrics on pockets
• 2 FQ - Fabric #2 - Bag top front/back, inside pockets (or 1/2 yard)
• 1 FQ - Fabric 3 - Strap (or 1/4 yard)
• 2 FQ - Fabric 4 - Lining (or 1/2 yard, if directional print, add more)
• STYLE B - No strips on the outside pockets
• 1 FQ - Fabric 1 - Bag outside pockets ( or 1/4 yard)
• 2 FQ - Fabric 2 - Bag top fron/back, inside pockets (or 1/2 yard)
• 1 FQ - Fabric 3 - Strap (or 1/4 yard)
• 2 FQ - Fabric 4 - Lining (or 1/2 yard, directional print add more)
• Interfacing:
• 1/2 yard - Pellon #987F Fusible Fleece
• 1/2 yard - Pellon #809 Decor Bond fusible
• Notions:
• One 9" long all purpose polyester zipper
• One 14" long all purpose polyester zipper
• Optional:
• Two sets of 1" swivel Hook and D-Ring
• One zipper pull or 1/4 yard of 3/8" ribbon
