Fleetwood Tote Pattern

The Fleetwood Tote Pattern by Kristina Brinkerhoff of Center Street Quilts includes sewing instructions for creating a quilted tote with a top zipper closure, pockets inside and out (one zippered pocket on the outside and slip pockets on the inside and outside), no bias binding (cut on the diagonal), and completely finished (bound) edges. The pattern is cut using a rotary cutter and ruler with the dimensions given, there are no printed templates involved. Difficulty Level: Intermediate to Advanced. The Fleetwood Tote pattern is a very involved project and includes many different sewing skills including: basting, quilting, cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, making handles, installing zippers using two different methods, making and installing binding, and creating boxy corners. Finished size: 12" W (at bottom), 16" W (at top) x 13" H x 5" D.
