St. Thomas Tote Bag Pattern

The St. Thomas tote bag pattern is made with 6-8 coordinating fabrics and strip pieces - a great way to use up your scraps. The handle is purchased.

Materials Needed:

• 6-8 different fabrics - 1/4 yd each for strips
• 3/4 yd coordinating fabric for lining and inner pocket
• 1/2 yd fabric for bias binding, tabs
• 1 yd fusible knit interfacing (for lining and pocket)
• 1 yd fusible heavyweight fleece
• Purchased 9" U shaped rattan or bamboo handles
• 3/4" magnetic snap
• 1 beautiful button (covered or vintage)
