Islander Bag Pattern *

The Islander Bag Pattern by Penny Sturges is an easy to make and stylish flap handbag with a single shoulder strap and lots of pockets!  This bag is big enough to use everyday with a finished size of 13"W x 11"H x 5"D.  Pattern template pieces are included for the flap, bag lining, and bag.

Materials Needed:

• Main Fabric (Outer bag, outer pockets, handle) - 1 1/4 yards
• Lining and Outer Flap Trim - 1 1/4 yards
• If you would like to use a third fabric for the outer pocket, flap lining or trim on the flap, use a Fat Quarter or two from the same fabric line.
• Bosal 326LF Light Fusible Batting - 1 3/4 yards
• Bosal 327B 1" Quilt & Craft Grid On Point - 1/2 yard (Optional for quilting the bag)
• One 2" D Ring or one 1 7/8" circular ring to hang from the flap
