Summertime Carryall Pattern

The Summertime Carryall Pattern by Penny Sturges of Quilts Illustrated includes sewing instructions for creating a big roomy bag with a zippered top closure, designed to carry all your stuff for beach, pool, craft projects, and any little trip. Also included are instructions and pattern templates for making a Pleated Posy flower embellishment. Finished size: 20" W x 17" T x 6" D.

Materials needed:

• (23) 1 1/2" (x width of fabric) strips for outer bag OR 2/3 yd fabric
• 2/3 yd lining fabric
• 1/3 yd fabric - handles, zippper flaps and zipper tabs
• Fat Quarter for bottom cover
• 1 yd Single sided light fusible batting Bosal #326LF/426LF
• 1 yd In-R-Form Single sided fusible foam Bosal #495S
• (2) 8" x 16" pieces of Craf-Tex stabilizer Bosal #337
• wonder clips, white chalk, clear gel glue
• (4) 1" rectangle rings
