Gone To Strip'n' Pieces Quilted Tote and Purse Pattern

The Gone To Strip'n Pieces pattern by Artful Offerings is for a quilted tote and purse with a bonus pattern for a strip-pieced tag.  This is a great opportunity to use those Jelly Rolls or any 2 1/2 inch wide strips. Tote finished size is 12 inches x 16 3/4 inches x 3 inches, Strip-Pieced purse is 8 1/2 inchs x 13 1/2 inches x 4 inches and the button tag is 2 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches.

Materials Needed:  The yardage is based on a 42 inch wide fabric

• 9 - size 2 1/2 inch x 42 inch strips from fabric medly (TOTE: strip pieced bottom band;PURSE: front/back/bottom/sides)
• 1 1/8 yd - Fabric #1 (TOTE: lining/handles/sturdy base sleeve; PURSE: lined interior pockets & button tag #1)
• 5/8 yd - Fabric #2
• 3/8 yd - Fabric #3
• 5/8 yd - Fabric #4
• 1/4 yd - Fabric #5
• 1/4 yd - Fabric #6
• Fat 1/8 - Fabric #7
• Fat 1/8 - Fabric #8
• 9 inch x 12 inch piece of Timtex stiff interfacing (3 button tags)
• 1 1/4 yd - 45 inches wide cotton batting
• 1 5/8 yd - 44 inches wide firm iron-on interfacing
• 1 pkg Wrights or 2 1/2 yd - 5/8 inches red rick rack
• 1 pkg Wrights or 1 yd - 1/4 inches wide Red rick rack (3 button tags)
• 4 - 7/16 inches extra large eyelets and  eyelet setting for tote
• 3 - 3/16 inches small eyelets & eyelet setting tool (3 button tags)
• Buttons for decoration
