Practical Purse Pattern

The Practical Purse pattern is made by Jan Kawanabe and has lots of pockets and compartments to help keep you organized!  There are double straps and a secure top zipper and the finished size is 14" W x 10 1/2" H x 5" D.

Materials Needed:

• Outside Main body fabric - 1/2 yd
• Lining body and pockets - 3/4 yd
• Contrasting bottom fabric - 1/4 yd
• To make handles add another 1/3 yd
• Different outside pockets (accenting) - 1/4 yd
• Webbing for handles 1" wide x 3 yards to match outside of bag
• (1) 14" zipper to match main fabric
• 1 - 7" zipper to match lining fabric - the zippers may be longer and be cut to fit.
• Stabilizer - Decor bond by Pellon - 3/4 yd
• Fusible polyester fleece - 1/2 yd
• Glue stick
