Art Bag Pattern

The Art Bag Pattern by Virginia Robertson Designs has clear instructions to make a tote bag with an applique design! This bag pattern is easy to make and has a quick corner technique to help you make the corners. Finished size is approximately 14"H x 17"W x 3"D.

Materials Needed:

• Muslin base fabric - 1/2 yard
• Bag background fabric, optional fabric handles, and loop - 1.25 yards
• Applique fabrics - 1/4 yard cuts
• Optional: 1/2 yard of a flower print to fussy cut with the Broderie Perse technique. The fabric on the cover bag is designed by Philip Jacobs for the Kaffe Fasset Collections and this works well with this pattern.
• Paper backed fusible web (Wonder Under, etc.) - 1 yard
• Fusible cotton batting
• Bamboo handles
• Large 3" button(s)
• Template plastic
