Big Bag and Accessories Pattern

This Big Bag and Accessories pattern uses 2 1/2" strips (Jelly Roll) to make all five projects. The largest bag measures 15" x 15" x 6".  There are instructions for a lining with 8 pockets and the flap fastens with Velcro.

Materials Needed:

• Twelve 1/4 yd cuts of fabrics.  Make sure all the fabrics blend smoothly together.
• 1/8 yd cuts for the flower appliques
• 1/4 yd for the flap
• 1/2 yd for the bottom and handles
• 1 3/4 yd for the lining
• Sheet of 11" x 17" template plastic for the bottom of the bag
• 1 1/2 yd of medium weight interfacing and 45" batting
• 3 yds of pattern tracer fabric or large tracing paper and a fabric glue stick
• One inch of Velcro
• ACCESSORIES: Strip pieced fronts - Twelve 1/4 yd cuts of fabrics
• Lining - 1 yd
• Heavyweight stabilizer - 1 yd
• Flat batting - 1 yd
• Pattern tracer material - 1 yd
• Ribbon, buttons, beads, etc. (Your choice)
• One inch of Velcro
