Pockets All Around Bag Pattern

The "Pockets All Around" handbag pattern by BJC Custom Quilt Designs has an optional grommets near the bag top, double handles, and lots of pockets inside and out!  This bag is Fat Quarter friendly and includes 2 sizes:  The small bag's finished size is 9" x 13" and the large bag's finished size is 13" x 16".

Materials Needed:

• SMALL:
• Lining - 2 fat quarters or 1/2 yard
• Handles - 1/4 yard
• Bottom of bag - 1/2 yard or 2 fat quarters
• Top of bag - 1 fat quarter
• Inside pockets - 1 fat quarter
• Drawstring - 1/8 yard
• Grommets (optional) - 12
• Magnetic clasp - 1
• Needle punch batting - 1 1/4 yard
• OR (if not quilting)
• Iron-on batting - 1 1/4 yard
• Binding - 1 fat quarter or scraps
• Beads - 2 wooden (optional)
• LARGE:
• Lining - 2 fat quarters or 1/2 yard
• Handles - 1/4 yard
• Bottom - 1/2 yard or 2 fat quarters
• Top - 1 fat quarter
• Inside pockets - 1 fat quarter
• Drawstring - 1/8 yard
• Grommets - 12 (optional)
