Scallop Tote Pattern

The scallop Tote pattern by Nancy Rink Designs has instructions for a decorative tote bag with embroidery designs, appliques, and a magnetic snap closure. Finished size is approximately 10"H x 9"W x 4"D.

Materials Needed:

• Fat Quarter - 4 of Dusty Blue color for body of bag
• Fat Quarter of aged muslin for scallop overlay
• Fat Quarter of putty color solid for scallop overlap lining
• 3/4 yard of burgundy print for applique and bag lining
• Fat Eighth of green print for applique
• 16" x 45" piece of cotton batting
• Variegated decorative thread in neutral tones
• 1/2 yard freezer paper
• Beige embroidery floss
• Magnet snap closure set
• 4.25" x 9" piece of stiff cardboard or plastic for bag bottom insert
• Purchased leather handle
