Daytripper Backpack Pattern

The Daytripper Backpack by Brenda Miller of Among Brenda's Quilts & Bags includes sewing instructions for a backpack with a padded interior tech pocket (holds up to 11" H x 10 1/2" wide device), inset pocket, organizer pocket, and optional covered straps. the finished size is 13 1/2" H x 12 1/2" W x 3 1/2" D.

Materials needed:

• 1 yd main fabric
• 3/4 yd accent fabric
• 1/3 yd fabric for covered strap (optional)
• 1 1/8 yd lining
• 1 5/8 yd of Sew-in Foam Stabilizer or single-sided fusible.
• 1/3 yd medium weight interfacing
• 1/4" seam basting tape
• (2) 14" bag zippers
• 30" double-pull bag zipper
• (2) 1" sliders
• (2) 1" rectangular rings
• 3" hook-and-loop tape
• 1 3/4 yd 1" webbing
• matching thread
• hand sewing needle
• large safety pin
