Jewel Tote Pattern

The Jewel Tote pattern by Perkins Dry Goods is an easy to make bag for the confident beginner with some sewing experience.  There are 2 sizes available in 2 sizes - SMALL has a finished size of 6" x 6" x 9" and the LARGE is 9" x 9" x 14".

Materials Needed:

• VIEW 1 (Single chain of fabric jewels)
• SMALL:
• Main print - 1/2 yard
• Accent fabric - 3/8 yard
• Lining & Inside Pockets - 1/2 yard
• Batting (like Hobbs 80/20) - 25" x 20"
• 3/8 yard of 20" wide lightweight fusible interfacing
• VIEW 1 (Single chain of fabric jewels)
• LARGE:
• Main print - 3/4 yard
• Accent - 5/8 yard
• Lining & Inside Pockets - 1 yard
• Batting (Hobbs) - 30" x 30"
• 1 1/4" wide cotton webbing to stabilize straps - 2 yards
• VIEW 2 - (Double chain of fabric jewels)
• SMALL:
• Main print - 1/2 yard
• Accent - 3/8 yard
• Lining and Inside Pockets - 1/2 yard
• Batting (Hobbs) - 25" x 20"
• 20" wide lightweight fusible interfacing - 3/8 yard
• LARGE:
• Main print - 1 yard
• Accent fabric - 5/8 yard
• Lining and Inside Pockets - 1 yard
• Batting (Hobbs) - 30" x 30"
• 1 1/4" wide cotton webbing to stabilize straps - 2 yards
