Chic Geek IPad Case and Bag Pattern

The Chic Geek IPad Case and Carry Bag by Melly & Me is a practical but pretty way to carry your IPad  with a protective case pattern and a comfortable messenger style bag pattern.  Finished size is approximately 10 1/2" x 8 1/2" for the IPad cover and 11" x 9" (excluding handle) for the carry bag.  Pattern pieces included for bag flap and IPad cover flap.

Materials Needed:

• 20" (50cm) aqua fabric (main cover and bag)
• 20" (50cm) cream, pink and aqua fabric (lining)
• 6" x 6" scraps of 6 contrasting fabrics (whirly-gigs)
• 6" (15cm) orange fabric (cover binding)
• 40" (1 meter) of orange pre-made bias tape or enough of the above fabric to make 42" of 1" bias tape (closure flaps)
• 40" (1 meter) Parlan or Iron-on Pellon (Vilene H630)
• 8" (20cm) of 1" white sew-in Velcro (closures)
• 20" (50cm) of black 1/2" elastic (cover-to secure IPad)
• 1" bias tape maker
