Cherry Lane Pattern

The Cherry Lane Pattern by The Janelle Wind Collection inculdes instructions for a large bag, a wristy, and large and small flowers. Finished Sizes: Large bag: 12" wide x 18" high including handles. Wristy: 8" wide x 8 1/2" high. Large Flower: approximately 5 1/2" diameter. Small Flower: approximately 4" diameter.

Materials Needed:

Cherry Lane Bag with decorative flower:

• 18" linen fabric for main bag and zig zag piecing
• 4" each of 8 assorted print fabrics for zig zag piecing, large decorative flower and ties
• 6" fabric for binding top of pickets and bag as well as button loops
• 6" each of 2 assorted print fabrics for handles (main & lining)
• 14" fabric for bag and outside pocket lining
• Two 6 1/2" squares of print fabric for inside pocket
• 20" bag batting (wadding of choice)
• Two 1 1/8" self cover buttons or buttons of choice
• Two 2" squares of felt for color to match fabrics for flower

Wristy with small decorative flower:

• 18" linen fabric for main bag and zig zag piecing
• 4" each of 8 assorted print fabrics for zig zag piecing, wrist strap and small decorative flower
• One fat 1/8th of fabric for lining
• One fat 1/8th of bag batting (wadding of choice)
• One 8" zip in color to match your linen (main fabric)

Large Assorted Print Flower only:

• One 4" x 8" piece of fabric from 8 assorted print fabrics
• Two 2" squares of felt to match fabrics
• One 1/2" x 15" strip for flower center OR use large self cover button or button of choice
