Materials Lists:

'a bluebirds welcome':

• 8" square fabric fro the stitchery background
• One fat 1/4 main fabric for journal cover, ties, and pocket binding
• 10" contrast floral fabric for handles, frills and pockets
• One fat 1/4 fabric for pocket lining and lining
• 8" square of Weaveline or equivalent backing stitchery
• 12" iron on pellon (batting or wadding of choice)

'a bluebird in flight':

• One 2 1/2" x 10" strip fabric for stitchery background
• On fat 1/8th print fabric for main journal cover
• On fat 1/4 fabric for inside pockets and lining
• One 2 1/2" strip x WOF for binding and ties
• One 2 1/2" x 10" strip of weaveline or equivalent for backing stitchery
• 12" iron on pelon (batting or wadding of choice)

For BOTH journal covers:

• Cosmo stranded embroidery threads in colors 374, 118, 107, 143, 503, and 2412
• Lightbox (optional)
• Braown pigma pen for tracing stitchery
• A5 spiral bound visual arts diary or journal of choice
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing Machine and general sewing supplies
