Three Sweet Bluebirds Bag and Needlecase Pattern

The Three Sweet Bluebirds Sewing Bag and Needlecase pattern by Rosalie Dekker Designs has double handles and a bluebird and hearts applique on the front.  Finished size is approximately 33cm (13"), including handles.  Pattern pieces for bag base and appliques included.

Materials Needed:

• Nine strips of different fabrics, each measuring 1 1/2" x full width (this is a sweet roll compatible pattern)
• One fat quarter in mid-blue/aqua small check
• 40cm (16") small pink polkadot fabric
• 45cm (18") small green polkadot fabric
• Scraps of fabric in the following colors: raspberry, blue, and green
• Template plastic
• 6-strand embroidery floss in the following colors:
• Pink Cosmo 353 or DMC 3326, Red Cosmo 241A or DMC 304
• 1m (40") Parlan (thin fusible batting)
• Roxanne's Glue "Baste-It"
• Four pale pink buttons, approximately 2cm ( 3/4") in diameter
• Two pale pink buttons, approximately 1cm (1/2") in diameter
