The Big Easy Bag Pattern *

 The Big Easy is a super simple tote bag pattern with an easy flex frame closure.  This bag pattern has only 2 main pattern pieces and lots of options like handles or shoulder strap, interior pockets, etc.  The Overnighter is 15" x 19" x 10", The Big Baby is 12" x 19" x 6", and The Easy Attache comes in 2 sizes to accommodate a variety of uses. (15" x 16" x 4" or 12" x 19" x 4").

Materials Needed:

• Easy Overnighter- 1 1/8 yard
• Contrasting Gusset and Straps- 1/2 yard
• Big Baby- 1 yard
• Contrasting Gusset and Straps- 1/3 yard
• Easy Attache- 1 yard
• Contrasting Gusset and Straps- 3/8 yard
• Lining- all views w/o pockets- 1 yard
• Lining with pockets:
• Easy Overnighter- 1 3/4 yard
• Big Baby- 1 2/3 yard
• Easy Attache- 1 1/2 yard
• Interfacing 22"- 2 1/3 yard
• Notions: 16" flex frame for all Attache. 18" flex frame for all other views, 9" zipper for Lining Pocket optional. Webbing for straps- 3 1/8 yd. Hard Liner- 3 sheets of plastic canvas approxiamtely 22 x 14 and 1 5/8 yd stiff interfacing, quick-drying fabric glue optional.
