Jack and Jill Lunch Bag Pattern

The Jack & Jill Lunch Bag pattern by Heather Bailey is a 5" x 6" pattern with instructions for lunch bags with customizations, such as a bow or trim.  There are 2 styles included with a finished size for Style A of 8" x 7 1/2" x 6" D plus the handle and Style B is 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 4" D plus the handles.

Materials Needed:  Fabric based on a 44/45" width

• STYLE A: 1/2 yd fabric
• 1/2 yd lining fabric
• 3/4 yd non-woven interfacing, 20" wide (skip this step if you are using a laminated fabric)
• 1/4 yd hook & loop tape, 3/4" wide such as Velcro
• 1 yd ribbon, 1" wide (optional)
• 5/8 yd large rick-rack, or other trim (optional)
• 6" W x 3" H extra heavy weight interfacing (Timtex, Peltex, etc.)
• 5" W x 7" H fleece interfacing for handle
• 2 D-rings for handle, 1" wide
• 7 5/8" W x 5 1/2" H thin plastic
• STYLE B: 1/2 yd fabric
• 1/2 yd lining fabric
• 3/4 yd fusible interfacing, 20" wide (skip if using laminated fabric)
• 1/4 yd hook & loop tape, 3/4" wide such as Velcro
• 6" W x 3" D extra heavy weight interfacing such as Timtex or Peltex
• 5" W x 7" H fleece interfacing for Handle
• 2 d-rings for handle, 1" wide
• 6 1/2" W x 3 5/8" H thin plastic
