Baja Traveler Bag Pattern

The Baja Traveler Bag pattern by Penny Sturges / Quilts Illustrated has a convenient outer pocket, double handles, and lots of pockets inside!  There are instructions for an optional top zipper closure and finished size is 14" W x 10" H x 5 1/2" D.

Materials Needed:

• Fabric #1 - 1 1/4 yard for outer top and bottom, outer pocket, lining, handle, zipper flaps and tabs, and inner pocket trim.
• Fabric #2 - 2/3 yard for contrasting outer band, inner pockets and bottom cover
• 1 yard of Pellon Fusible Fleece 987F
• 14" zipper

The photo on the cover has a pieced contrasting band on the outside of the bag.  A fat quarter of 4-5 fabrics is plenty, or small scraps from a charm pack will work also.  Fabrics used on the cover photo is Dandelion Daydreams by Maywood.
