Simply Sarah's Bag and Lil Sis Pattern *

Simply Sarah’s Bag and Lil Sis is by Susan Rooney Patterns and contains instructions for two different sized purses. Simply Sarah’s Bag is uniquely shaped and has a front flap pocket as well as a two- sided pocket. There is a shoulder strap and the finished size is 14” x 10”. The Lil Sis Bag Pattern is smaller in size (10” x 8”) and a decorative front flap and a shoulder strap. Pattern pieces are included for both bags.

Materials Needed:

• SIMPLY SARAH’S BAG:
• Fabric A - 7/8 yards for purse body, strap and tabs
• Fabric B - 1 and 1/8 yards for contrast outside pockets and lining
• Batting - 1 and 1/4 yards Thermolam, fusible or non-fusible (or comparable)
• Interfacing - 1/4 yard fusible medium weight for inside pocket lining
• Notions:
• 9” zipper to match Fabric A
• Four - 1” opening D-Rings
• LIL SISTER BAG:
• Fabric A - 1/4 yard for strap and tabs
• Fabric B - 1/2 yard or two Fat Quarters for purse body and lining
• Batting - 1/2 yard of Thermolam, fusible or non-fisuble (or comparable)
• Interfacing - scrap fusible medium weight for tabs
• Notions:
• One - 1” D-Ring
