Shipping Information

Shipping is FREE for orders of $50 or more when shipped to a U.S. address.

Orders are normally shipped on the business day after your order is received, excluding postal holidays and occasional market events.

For domestic orders less than $50, the shipping options available are USPS First Class Mail Package Rate for shipping weight up to 1 lb, or Priority Mail. Both of these services provide tracking. Shipping times are 2 - 5 days for First Class Mail; Priority Mail delivery time varies from 2 - 3 days based on distance shipped from North Carolina. Books ship via USPS media mail with delivery time from 2 - 9 days.

For for international orders, the shipping options available are USPS First Class Mail International Package Rate for shipping weight up to 4 pounds (1.8 kg), or Priority Mail International. International orders for patterns will be shipped at the lowest cost alternative, for example, the USPS First-Class Mail International Large Envelope Rate (max. length 15", height 12", or thickness 3/4", bends easily), ships at much lower cost; the shipping cost savings will be refunded when your order is shipped. Other examples of shipping cost savings include using the Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope and Padded Flat Rate Envelope. Tracking is provided for the Priority Mail International Package Rate only. International shipping time varies, according to USPS.com. International customers have provided feedback indicating delivery within 2 - 3 weeks for most deliveries, but some international customers report delays of several (4 - 8) weeks. Priority Mail International delivery is stated at 6 to 10 business days, however, there may be additional delays in customs.

All international shipments are subject to customs inspection and assessment of duties, taxes, and fees in accordance with your country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the item sent is dutiable and if the value of the item is above the threshold set by your country's laws. It is important to understand that, if duties and taxes are assessed on an item, they are collected from the recipient. Shipping and handling is charged to cover the cost of delivery only, and does not include charges assessed by customs in the destination country.

Return Policy:

If the product received does not meet your expectations, you have 7 days to return the item for a refund of the purchase price, including any NC state taxes paid, but excluding the shipping fee. If you paid by credit card, then your card will be credited as soon as the returned item is received and processed, typically, within three business days. Returned items must be unused and in the same condition as received.
