New Designer - Aunt Tam's Patterns

DESIGNER OF THE MONTH (September): Betz White

Betz White is the creator of Make New or Make Do™ Sewing Patterns and her specialty is sewing "green" by repurposing! She is a former children's wear designer and her patterns include the Olive Swing bag pattern (reversible and can be made from a vintage pillow case!), the Isabella Tote, and the Alice Book Bag.

Not only is she a handbag pattern designer but Ms. White now designs organic fabrics, which can be seen on her site!

The Tech Pocket & Portfolio pattern by Indygo Junction is an easy to follow pattern to make your tablet and/or E-Reader case.  Instructions are included for pockets to hold business cards or notes and the tablet sleeve's finished size is 9 1/4" wide x 13 1/2" high.  The tablet portfolio measures 8" wide x 9 3/4" high when closed and the E-Reader Portfolio measures 5 1/4" wide x 8" high when closed.  We now carry Soft and Stable by Annie, which is recommended for this pattern.
