If you run across a purse pattern on my site that is listed in centimeters and you only "think" in inches, figure out exactly how much material you need without stress! Some Basic Fabric Conversions:
• 15 cm. - 20 cm. = 1/5 yd.
• 25 cm. - 30 cm. = 1/3 yd.
• 50 cm. = 5/8 yds.
• 40 cm. - 45 cm. = 1/2 yds.
• 55 cm. = 5/8 yds.
• 60 cm. = 2/3 yds.
• 65 cm. = 3/4 yds.
• 75 cm. - 80 cm. = 7/8 yd.
• 90 cm. = 1 yd.

Fat Quarter Measurements -

Fat Quarters - 18" x 22"
Fat 16ths - 9" x 11"
Fat 1/8ths - 11" x 22"

Jelly Rolls - usually sold in packs of 40, these are 2 1/2" by the width of the fabric (44" - 45")

Layer Cakes - Usually sold in packs containing 40, these are 10" squares of fabric.
