The Old Port Carryall pattern by Aunties Two Patterns is a practical tote bag pattern that can be made from pre-quilted fabric or use Craf-tex to make a firmer bag. Finished size is 15" W x 13" H x 5" D.
Materials Needed:
- PRE-QUILTED FABRIC BAG:
- 1 yd of double-sided pre-quilted fabric
- 3/4 yd of fabric for binding and handles
- 2 yds of 1/2" cotton upholstery piping for the handles
- QUILT OR FUSE YOUR OWN FABRIC:
- 1 1/4 yd of TWO coordinated fabrics for body, gusset, and pockets
- 3/4 yd of fabric for the bindings and handles
- 1 1/4 yd of 45" wide very thin batting or double-sided fusible fleece/batting
- 2 yds of 1/2" cotton upholstery piping for the handles
- FABRIC COVERED CRAF-TEX BAG:
- 1 yd of TWO coordinated fabrics for the body, gusset and pockets
- 1 yd of fabric for the binding and handles
- 1 1/4 yds of Craft Tex 20" wide (#337) by Bosal Foam & Fiber
- 1 1/4 yd of fusible batting 45" wide (#325) by Bosal Foam & Fiber
- 2 yds of 1/2" cotton upholstery piping for the handles
