The Flirty Fan Purse pattern by Quilter By Night can be made with 4 fat quarters and has 2 outer pockets on the ends, 2 inside pockets, and a zipper closure on top. Finished size is 13 1/2" x 6 1/2" H (11" with handles) x 4" D. Skill level is for advanced beginners or this pattern can be made by experienced sewers in a day.
Materials Needed:
- Four coordinating fat quarters (minimum 18" x 20")
- 1/2 yd fusible fleece (such as 42" wide Pellon Fusible Thermaloam Plus)
- 3/4 yd of 20" wide, medium weight fusible interfacing
- One 9" zipper
- 7" x 7" fabric scrap for fan center (optional)
- 1 clip for key ring loop (optional)
- For optional stabilizing of zipper placket and for bottom insert: 6" x 14" piece of heavy, heat-resistant template plastic and a 9" x 15" fabric scrap
