Notting Hill Hobo Bag Pattern *

The Notting Hill Hobo Bag Pattern by Bari J. is an easy to make hobo bag that includes two size and two styles - a patchwork bag or a bag made of solid fabric.  There are instructions for a rounded elastic pocket with casing on the back and tailored pin-tucks with a finished size of 14" W x 10" H x 3" D for the SMALL and 15" W x 11" H x 4" D for the LARGE.

Materials Needed: 44" wide fabric

•  1 yd fabric if making a solid fabric bag OR 5 different fabrics at least 12" pieces for a patchwork bag
• 1 yd lining fabric
• 1 yd fusible fleece
• Magnetic closure
• Large sheet of plastic canvas (found in the needlepoint section of your local craft store)
• OPTIONAL:  1 yd buckram (stiffening material)
• Purse feet
• Brooch or other vintage embellishment
