Messenger Bag Purses Pattern

There are instructions for 3 different sizes for this messenger bag with a shoulder strap and front flap. Finished sizes are SMALL - 6" x 6" x 2" MEDIUM - 10" x 11" x 2 1/2" LARGE - 12" x 11" x 2 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• Main body fabric: SMALL: 1/2 yd MEDIUM/LARGE: 3/4 yd
• Accent fabric: SMALL 1 fabric 1/4 yd MEDIUM 4 fabrics at 1/4 yd each LARGE 2 fabrics at 1/4 yd each
• Binding fabric: SMALL/MEDIUM: 1/4 yd LARGE: 3/8 yd
• Lining fabric: SMALL/MEDIUM: 1/2 yd LARGE: 3/8 yd
• 1/2 to 3/4 yd batting
• 1/2 to 3/4 yd muslin sub-lining
• Heavy duty zipper: SMALL - 9" MEDIUM/LARGE - 12"
• Webbing: 1 1/2" to 2 yds of 1" wide for SMALL/MEDIUM size of 1 1/2" wide for larger size
• Optional cord strap: 3 yds (This would be in place of webbing)
• Adjustable strap: (2) 1" or 1 1/2" D-rings and (1) 1" or 1 1/2" adjustable bar slide (size is determined by webbing width)
