Kimi Rose Purse Pattern

The Kimi Rose purse pattern has instructions for a large, multi-colored rose on the front, a quilted diamond background, and large grommets for the handles.  The instructions are in color and clear to understand.  Finished size is 13"H x 17"W x 6"D.  Pattern pieces are not included.

Materials Needed:

• 5/8 yd outer bag fabric
• 5/8 yd lining fabric
• 1/2 yd handle fabric (cut on the bias)
• 1/2 yd binding fabric (cut on the bias)
• OR 1 1/4 yds of pre-made bias binding (for the top edge of the bag)
• 1/2 yd interior pocket fabric
• 1/4 yd each of 3 coordinating fabrics (for rose petals)
• 1/4 yd coordinating fabric (for center rosette)
• 12" fabric square (to cover rose base)
• 1/3 yd 22" wide Pellon Peltex 1-sided fusible interfacing (for the rose base)
• 5/8 yd 45" wide Pellon Decor Bond 1-sided fusible interfacing (back of outer bag)
• 5/8 yd 45" wide 1-sided fusible fleece (also for back of outer bag)
• 1 yd 60" wide fusible knit interfacing (back of lining and interior pockets)
• 4 yds 1/2" or #5 cotton cording (this going inside the handles)
• 4 - 1" grommets
• 1 - 3/4" magnetic snap set
• 1 - 1 1/2" covered button set (use a scrap of any of your bag fabrics to cover the button)
• 1 spool 12 weight Sulky thread, if desired, for diamond quilting on outer bag
• rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Marking pen or chalk
