Baggalista Bag Pattern *

The Baggalista Bag pattern by StudioKat Designs is a conveniently sized organizational handbag that has lots of storage options, including 5 zippered pockets and 4 inside pockets. Two of the zippered pockets are cell phone holders on the side of the bag and one zippered pocket is on the back - perfect for storing larger items securely!  There are instructions for an adjustable shoulder strap which can also be hands free and the front flap is perfect for piecing.  Finished size is 9 1/2" H x 9" W x 4" D.

Materials Needed:

• Exterior Fabric - 1/3 yard (Main body of purse)
• Contrast - 1/4 yard (Flap and back pocket area)
• Lining - 1 1/8 yard
• Fusible interfacing - one 12" x 7" scrap (Craft Fuse)
• Fusible Fleece - 1/4 yard (Thermolam)
• Soft & Stable - One 29" x 11" piece
• NOTIONS:  1 each - 1" square metal link
• 1 each - 1" metal slide
• 1 each - 16" (or longer) separating coil zipper
• 1 each - 12" (or longer) nylon coil zipper
• 1 each - 9" (or longer) nylon coil zipper
• 2 each - 7" (or longer) nylon coil zipper
• 60" - 1" wide nylon webbing
• 2 each - 3/4" invisible sew-in magnetic snap
