HipBag Hybrid Pattern *

The HipBag Hybrid Bag Pattern is a handy small bag that can be converted to be used in so many ways! Wear your new bag on your shoulder, as a convenient hip bag that fastens around your waist, or use it connected to your bike, walker, stroller, etc. There are 3 roomy storage areas with a front flapped pocket, a back zippered pouch, and a secret storage area. Options for the flap include an embellished front flap or a pieced front flap. Finished size is 7 1/2"L x 6"H x 3 1/2"D.

Materials Needed:

• FABRICS: Extra fabric may be required for directional prints or if making your own bias tape.
• Exterior - 1/2 yard
• Lining - 1/2 yard
• Contrast - 1/4 yard or 1 Fat Quarter
• Fusible interfacing - 1/4 yard of 22" wide (Fashion Fuse by Bosal or similar)
• Fusible fleece - 1/4 yard of 22" wide (Thermolan or similar)
• Soft & Stable by Annie - One 9" x 18 1/2" piece
• BAG NOTIONS & ZIPPERS:
• FOR THE BAG ONLY:
• 3 each - 3/4" sew in invisible magnetic snaps
• 35 inches of extra wide bias tape
• 2 each of 3/4" wide D-rings
• 1 each of 16" (or longer) purse zipper (Closed on both ends with 2 zipper heads)
• SHOULDER STRAP SUPPLIES:
• 52 inches of 1" wide cotton webbing
• 1 each of 1" wide slide buckle (to make strap adjustable)
• 2 each of 1" wide swivel snap hooks
• ATTACHMENT LOOP SUPPLIES:
• 2 each of 3/4" D-rings
• 2 each of 5/8" wide swivel snap hooks
