Stripped To Pieces Pattern

The Stripped To Pieces Quilted Tote bag pattern by Artful Offerings comes in 2 sizes (Large - 15 inches x 20 inches x 8 inches and Small - 8 inches x 17 inches x 4 inches) and is a great way to use Jelly Rolls.  The large tote uses 10 strips and the small tote uses 5 strips.  Don't have Jelly Rolls?  Make your own 2 1/2 inch wide strips.

Materials Needed:

• Use strips from 1 Jelly Roll or 10 size 2 1/2 inches x 44 inches strips from different fabrics (large tote) or 5 strips from different fabrics for the small tote
• Handles - if you want a more scrappy look, the large tote uses 4 strips and the small uses 3 strips
• 1 3/4 yd - Fabric #1 (One piece linings, sturdy base sleeves)
• 1 1/8 yd - Fabric #2 (Straps, handles, lined interior pockets)
• 1 3/8 yd of 45 inch wide cotton batting
• 1 3/8 yd of 44 inches wide firm Iron-On interfacing
• 8 - size 1 1/2 inch antique gold rings (4 rings for the large and 4 rings for the small)
• 1 pkg size 12/32 inch Wrights Cotton Filler Cord (tote handles)
