Baby Sister Purse Pattern

The Baby Sister Purse Pattern by Kristy Wolf is a smaller version of the popular Sweet Retreat Bag Pattern. The size is smaller so that it makes the perfect everyday bag! There are double handles and also instructions for a zippered wallet. Optional directions are given to make this bag with Jelly Rolls and the finished size is 14"W x 10"H x 4"D.

Materials Needed:

• ½ yard fabric A for bag body (directional fabric not recommended)
• OR
• 14 – 2 1/2" strips
• OR
• 84 – 2 1/2” squares
• ¾ yard Fabric B for bag sides, outside and side pockets, zipper tabs
• 1 ½ yard Fabric C for bag lining, inside pockets, side pocket lining
• 1/3 yard Fabric C for handles
• 1/3 yard Fabric D for handles
• ¾ yard binding
• 1 ½ yard fusible fleece (Pellon 987F)
• 1 yard fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101
• 1 yard 3/4”elastic
• Zipper – 16” or longer

CLUTCH

• 3 fat quarters
• ¾ yard fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101
• ¼ yard fusible fleece Pellon 987F
• OPTIONAL ZIPPERED CENTER POCKET:
• Large button
• 1 fat quarter
• 8” x 8” scrap pocket lining
• (2) 7”zippers
• ¼ yard fusible interfacing
