Fruit Salad Bag Pattern

The Fruit Salad Bag Pattern by Natalie Ross has a unique wide and rounded opening and double handles.  The main body of the bag is made with scraps and finished size is 12 1/2" long.

Materials Needed: (Based on fabric 44" wide)

• 6" each from 8 different fabrics
• 4" of print fabric for handles
• 6" of printed fabric for frills
• 18" of fabric for the bag lining
• 20" of Iron-on Pellon
• 45" of Flexible plastic handle boning 1/2" in width
• Fabric scraps for the bird
• 8" x 16" of  fabric for the heart
• 20" of Ric Rac Braid for the heart
• Embroidery thread in a contrasting color for the heart
• A sheet of cardboard for making the templates
