Fresh As a Daisy Bag Pattern

The "Fresh As A Daisy" Bag pattern by Rosalie Dekker Designs has a single handle and is made of patchwork fabric (a great way to use up your scraps!) with a daisy on the front.  Finished size is 31" long x 12" wide (79 cm x 30 cm).

Materials Needed:

• 24 assorted strips of patchwork fabric, each measuring 1 1/2" x 22" for the main bag
• 4" (10 cm) extra fabric for handle
• 1/2 yd (40 cm) fabric for lining and handle
• 14" (35 cm) of cotton batting
• One 12" x 12" (30 cm x 30 cm) piece of green fabric for leaves
• One 6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm) piece of thick white fabric for daisy
• One small magnetic bag closure (optional)
• DMC Perle 8 thread
