Bluebird Bag & Purse Pattern

The Bluebird Bag and Purse Pattern is a practical tote with double handles and a bluebird sitting in a tree applique on the front with a finished size of 10" x 11" (not including straps).  Instructions are also included for a matching small coin purse which measures 3" x 3 1/2" when completed.

Materials Needed:

• TOTE BAG:
• 30cm (12") red fabric
• 15cm (6") green/brown stripe
• 30cm (12") lining fabric
• 20cm x 20cm (8" x 8") blue fabric
• 15cm x 15cm (6" x 6") cream fabric
• 10cm x 10xm (4" x 4") brown fabric
• 5cm x 15cm (2" x 6") green fabric
• 10xm x 10cm (4" x 4") green print fabric
• 30cm (12") iron-on Pellon (medium weight)
• DMC threads: 3820 yellow, 801 brown, 783 blue, 580 green, 3328 raspberry
• COIN PURSE:
• 15cm (6") square of cream fabric
• 5cm x 15cm (2" x 6") green
• 15cm x 30cm (6" x 12") lining fabric
• 15cm x 30cm iron-on Pellon (lightweight)
• Sew in clasp - 4cm x 7cm
• DMC threads: 3820 yellow, 793 blue, 580 green, 3328 raspberry
