Rose - Seven Pocket Wonder Quilted Purse Pattern *

The "Rose" Seven Pocket Wonder purse pattern from the "Pockets Are A Girls Best Friend" series is by Kathleen Willis is a quilted purse that is recommended for the advanced beginner sewer.  Finished size is 14" x 12" x 5".

Materials Needed:

• Outside fabric: 1 1/4 yd
• Inside fabric: 1 1/2 yd 
• (If you are using a third fabric for the outside pocket, you will need 1 fat quarter & 1 fat quarter of the inside fabric)
• High loft polyester batting: 34" x 44" or 18" x 22" if you are using a third fabric
• Fusible fleece: 1/8 yd for inside straps
• 1/2 yd: Easy Pattern found at JoAnn fabric stores) or tissue paper/freezer paper for tracing pattern pieces
• 1" button or decorative pin if using Velcro
• Velcro 3/4" x 2" (This is optional if you do not want to make a buttonhold)
• Water erasable marking pen or chalk
• Base: cardboard, wood, or purse base bottom
