Zippy Tote and Handbag Pattern

The Zippy Tote and Handbag Pattern by In Stitches can be made with either purchased handles or your favorite fabric!  Instructions include an easy method to install a top zipper and the pattern comes in 2 sizes.  Full size pattern pieces are not included.

Materials Needed:

• TOTE: Outside fabric - 1/2 yd (includes straps)
• Lining fabric - 1/2 yd (includes pockets)
• Contrast fabric - 1/4 yd (for top band, inside and out)
• Heavyweight iron-on interfacing (Decor Bond recommended) - 3/4 yd
• 18" - 20" zipper
• HANDBAG:  Outside fabric - 1/4 yd (includes loops for handle)
• Lining fabric - 1/4 yd (includes pockets)
• Contrast fabric - 1/8 yd (for top band, inside and outside)
• Heavyweight iron-on interfacing (Decor Bond recommended) - 1/2 yd
• 14" - 16" zipper
• 6" plastic, wooden, or bamboo handles
• Permanent Fabric Glue
