The Classic Clutch Pattern

The Classic Clutch pattern by Heather Mulder Peterson of Anka's Treasures is an easy to make and versatile bag with 8 pages of etailed instructions with photos, an optional credit card holder/purse divider, and an optional zippered pocket on the back.  This pattern comes in two  sizes (SMALL - 5" x 9 1/2") (LARGE - 6" x 11") and there are 2 handle options.

Materials Needed:

• SMALL:
• Bag fabric - 1 Fat Quarter
• Lining - 1/2 yard
• Inside pocket/purse divider - 1 Fat Quarter
• Interfacing (Pellon SF101 Shape Flex All-purpose woven fusible interfacing) - 7/8 yards
• Heat 'N Bond light - 1/4 yard
• Handle Clasps - 1 for short handle, 2 for long handle, or 3 to make both
• Magnetic closure - 1
• Zipper - 8 to 9"
• LARGE:
• Bag fabric - 1/3 yard
• Lining - 2/3 yards
• Inside pocket/purse divider - 1/3 yard
• Interfacing - 1 yard (See type of interfacing above)
• Heat 'N Bond light - 1/3 yard
• Magnetic Closure - 1
• Handle Clasps - See amounts above
• Zipper - 9-10"
