Caddy Pad Jr.

The Caddy Pad Jr. by Sisters' Common Thread is a tote for an iron and ironing pad especially to fit your travel iron!  This tote is sized to hold a 6" to 8 1/4" travel iron and is perfect for that sewing class or sewing retreat.  This pattern comes with enough heat resistant ironing board fabric to make an ironing pad.  Finished size is 5"W x 5"H x 9 3/4"Length when closed and 15"W x 20" Length when opened.

Materials Needed:

• 17" x 22" Main fabric (preshrunk) for caddy body - MF
• AND
• (2) 3 1/2" x 12" pieces for the handles
• 17" x 22" Heat resistant ironing board fabric (included with this pattern) - HR
• 17" x 22" (2) layers of Insul-Bright®
• OR
• (2) layers of cotton batting pieces (preshrunk)
• OR
• 1 layer of Warm Tater®
• (2) 1" or larger pretty  buttons
• 9" of 1/4" wide elastic
• 1/4 yard to make about 75" of binding (usually cut 2 1/4" to 2 1/2")
